Your involvement helps us celebrate!
For our current Campaign in 2022, Howdy, Neighbors is donating 50% of its proceeds to the St. Joseph Home for infants, children and adults with developmental disabilities. We have chosen to directly partner with this wonderful organization by actively participating in two events:
September-October 2022 and August-September 2021: In 2021, we expanded Jason’s enthusiastic car greeting into a quest to receive 10,000 honks and corresponding contributions from well-wishers, and we far exceeded this mark. Together with some matching grants, this yielded over $100,000! This large sum was enough to buy a specially equipped wheelchair van to transport residents to and from locations, and out into the community. In 2022, your donations will help to expand their day services program for disabled adults, in order to be able to accommodate more of the many deserving individuals on their waiting list. Jason and many of his friends attend this program.

There are many events–even parades–where Jason and friends (including you?) wave at different locations, businesses, and organizations around the Cincinnati area. Find out more here.
Saturday, May 22nd (completed): The Incline to the Finish Line Walk and Roll. This event is a 1 mile run/walk/roll for residents of St Joseph Home’s residential services, respite program, and day program participants, along with their friends, families, and philanthropy teams. Along with his program buddies, Jason was eager to race, and his “Jason’s World” team of generous donors was a leading fundraiser for the event. Both in 2021 and 2022, the race ended up raising nearly $50,000, which is so important to such a fragile non-profit, especially in the COVID era. If you are interested in helping, there is still time to join the Jason’s World team!
